Since its establishment in 1948, the Montreal Press Club has focused on promoting friendly relations among professionals engaged in journalism and the communications arts. It also serves as a hub where members can make new contacts, exchange information, and keep up with developments. Membership is open to journalists as well as a wide range of professionals in television and radio, video and film production, and public relations.
In addition to members-only functions, the club organizes a series of public guest speakers and discussions on politics, media, and the arts, as well as a variety of social events.
Professionals employed in the media or communications industries are invited to apply for membership.
